Outlook – Attachment not sent when forwarding mail from shared mailbox

Today I encountered a situation where whenever a mail with attachment was being forwarded, the mail would lose it’s attachment. Even in the sent items for the shared mailbox the was no attachment to be found.

After a lot of troubleshooting I found out that when enabling Outlook Cache mode on the Outlook profile it is again working as intended.
